RED BEAN ARMY : DAP CYBER TROOPERS ATTACK ORDINARY MALAYSIAN TOO

KUALA LUMPUR: Former DAP Youth National Executive Secretary Shen Yee Aun said DAP has its own group of cyber troopers called Red Bean Army paid to create lies, manipulate and misrepresent facts not only to attack the government, but also any ordinary Malaysians who pledge support to the Barisan Nasional.

In an interview with Mynewshub which is uploaded in the Youtube, Shen said the cyber troopers which are based in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur and Komtar office in Penang will attack and discourage anyone who said anything bad about the party.

“Their objectives are simple. Firstly to make sure an issue created by them to go viral online and to have a psychological warfare to make a person quit from politics.”

“Thirdly they just want to discourage one’s spirit and to discredit whatever truth we exposed about them,” he said.

Shen did not dismiss that there is a possibility for cyber troopers to comment on news portals as well.

“Red Bean Army is sponsored by DAP and this is not a baseless accusation. Tony Pua in an interview with Malaysiakini had admitted that they have their own cyber troopers.”

“In fact Jeffrey Ooi, DAP networker in an interview with The Star Switch Up TV had said ‘we pay cyber troopers to murder people.”

This, according to Shen is meant to assassinate characters of anyone who criticises Pakatan Rakyat or support BN, including celebrities such as Michelle Yeoh, Namewee and others.

He claimed the online threat had even caused two Taiwanese artists to pull out from a concert in Penang, as this army will create fear and attacks to boycott any of their product endorsements.

“Their tactic is too extreme and it is not healthy to this country,” said Shen.

Shen added usually the cyber troopers will have specific target and issues to harp on and it will be done within only three days.

“If such issues are the truth, I can accept it but if it is not the truth, it will only create attacks to the innocent.”

The 26-year-old had been involved in politics since he was 16 and he was also appointed as DAP’s Assistant Election Manager for the 12th General Election in 2008.

Shen criticised DAP for being hypocritical with their principle, which he believes had gone off course post March 2008.

“Before 2008 and after 2008 is very different. They have an honest sincere, transparent struggle then. Now, if I were to list down all DAP members who are involved in corruptions, it will be too many of them.”

“They always say BN is corrupt, but Nga Kor Ming (Taiping MP) has done one of the fastest corruptions in the world. He awarded tailoring contract to his wife in less than 49 days after they won Perak,” he said.

He was referring to allegations that Nga had abused his power to award a contract to his wife's tailoring firm

Shen said: "Another example of DAP’s changing stand is when it criticised MCA president Datuk Seri Chua Soi Lek who did not agree with hudud as someone who insults Islam.

“They are the ones who are very vocal in opposing the Islamic state but after March 2008, when MCA started to attack Pas’ version of hudud, DAP took a cunning tactic by saying MCA President, MCA is degrading Islam.”

“Their politics allow anything that they think is right or that can give political mileage to them,” he added.

He pointed when BN Shah Alam candidate, Datuk Zulkifli Noordin contested under Pas in 2004 and PKR in 2008, no one from DAP said anything about him being a racist.

“After he left Pakatan he is labelled as racist and his old videos when he was in Pakatan is circulated.”
